On 14 April 2010, a biletarel meeting between Mr. S.Mendsaikhan, Chairman of the NSO of Mongolia and Mr. Erol Cetin, Programme Coordinator of Turkish International Cooperation Agency /TICA/ was held at the meeting room of the National Statistical Office of Mongolia.
  During this meeting, Mr. S.Mendsaikhan expressed NSO`s official request to continue its fruitful cooperation that has been established in recent years by extending tripartite cooperation protocol that has been signed betweet National Statistical Office of Mongolia, Turkish Statistical Institute and Turkish International Cooperation Agency for the period of 2010-2014.
  Mr.Erol Cetin kindly accepted the request from the NSO and expressed the view that the TICA office of Ulaanbaatar would enhance its efforts to strengthen further the cooperation between the two institutions and would submit the cooperation proposal, made by the NSO of Mongolia, to related authorities...
  In addition, Mr. S.Mendsaikhan mentioned that the NSO of Mongolia has developed a 2010 Policy Matrix on International Cooperation of the NSO of Mongolia with international organizations, including theTICA, and briefly introduced a statistical project entitled “MONSTAT – Strengthening the National Statistical System of Mongolia” which is being implemented at the NSO of Mongolia.
  Mr. Erol Cetin emphasized the importance of the project and expressed their willingness to provide necessary  assistances.
The meeting was held in friendly and professional environment.
