I. Social indicators
  In the first half of 2010, the number of live births decreased by 500 to 33566, the number of mothers delivered children decreased by 520 or 1.5 percent to 33429, compared to the same period of the previous year.
  According to the data of Ministry of Health, births per 1000 population was 12.2, deaths per 1000 population was 3.2 and natural increase per 1000 population was 9.0 in the first half of 2010. In the first half of 2010, infant mortality increased by 8 or 1.1 percent to 710, child mortality aged 15  increased by 89 to 190, respectively; while the number of maternal deaths decreased by 9 to 15, compared to the same period of the previous year.
  The number of unemployed who had registered at Labour and Welfare Service Divisions in aimags and capital city and were actively looking for job reached 39941 at the end of June, 2010, increased by 446 persons  or 1.1 percent, compared to the same periodof the previous year. Such increase in the number of unemployed compared to the same period of the previous year was mainly due to the increase in Bayankhongor (355 persons), Dornogovi (461 persons), Zavkhan (836 persons), Tov (929 persons), Khovd (1016 persons) aimags, respectively...
  In the first half of 2010, 493.9thous.persons registered as insurer, of which  206.6 thousand or 41.8 percent insurers from the government institutions and 287.3 thousand or 58.2 percent insurers from the  private establishments. Total amount of pension allocated from the social insurance fund reached 166.0 bln.tog in the first half of 2010. Retirement pension accounted for 73.1 percent, pension for disabled persons accounted for 12.8  percent, breadwinner loss pension accountedfor 7.4 percent, and military pension accounted for 6.7 percent of the total amount  of pension.In the first half of 2010, social welfare pensions and benefits had allocated for 55.7 thous.people with the amount of 12.7 bln.tog, increased by 2.5 thous.people or 4.7 percent, the total amount of the allocated fund up by 0.7 bln.tog or 5.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. From this year, 70.0 thous.tog were started to allocate to every citizen and in the first half of 2010, totally 169.8 bln.tog were reached to 2.4 mln.people from the Human development fund.
  In the first half of 2010, the number of infectious disease cases was 19.8 thousand, down by 250 cases or 1.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The number of persons infected by varicella, viral hepatitis, syphilis, shigellosis, trichomoniasis, gonococcal infection declined by 799 persons or 58.2 percent, by 882 persons or 28.7 percent, by 564 persons or 21.2 percent, by 219 persons or 17.0 percent, by 365 persons or 12.5 percent, by 62 persons or 2.0 percent, while the number of persons infected by tuberculosis increased by 18 persons or 0.7 percent. In June 2010, Mongolia 1048 new cases of Enterovirus71
are registered, of which 501 or 47.8 percent occurred in Ulaanbaatar city, 547 or 52.2 percent in provinces, particularly 303 or 28.9 percent in Dornod aimag, 63 or 6.0 percent in Khentii aimag, 43 or 4.1 percent in Dornogovi aimag, 28 or 2.7 percent in Tov aimag had registered, whereas it is not registered in BayanOlgii, GoviAltai, Zavkhan, Khovd and Khovsgol aimags and in other aimags it is 0.11.6 percent. Children aged 0 to 9 are amounts 97.7 percent of the total infection cases.
  In the first half of 2010, 13 persons infected by HIV/AIDS were newly recorded and total 75 persons were recorded at the national level. In June 2010, 4 cases infected by HIV/AIDS were newly recorded in Ulaanbaatar city. The total number of crimes committed in the first half of 2010 was 9879, reflecting a decrease of 845 crimes or 7.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the first half of 2010, occurred crimes caused 3306 injuries, 663 deaths, down by 923 persons or 21.8 percent and by 179 persons or 21.3 percent, respectively, compared to the same period of previous year.

II. Macro economical indicators
  The national consumer price index in June, 2010 decreased by 1.5 percent compared to the previous month, increased by 11.4 percent compared to the end of the previous year and the same period of the previous year, respectively. Decrease in national index compared to the previous month was mainly due to the 4.0 percent decrease in food and nonalcoholic beverages.
  According to the report of the Bank of Mongolia, money supply (broad money or M2) at the end of June, 2010 expanded to 3523.6 bln.tog, which reflects an increase of 269.5 bln.tog or 8.3 percent compared to the end of May 2010, and an increase of 1084.4 bln.tog or 44.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. At the end of June, 2010, currency issued in circulation reached 447.4 bln.tog, demonstrating an decrease of 15.2 bln.tog or 3.3 percent compared to the end of May 2010, and an increase of 89.7 bln.tog or 25.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
  Loans outstanding at the end of June, 2010 amounted to 2882.6 bln.tog, increased by 29.9 bln.tog or 1.0 percent compared to the end of May 2010, and by 323.7 bln.tog or 12.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, principals in arrears decreased, by 14.8 bln.tog or 11.6 percent compared to the end of May 2010, and by 39.5 bln.tog or 25.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year to 112.7 bln.tog at the end of June, 2010. At the end of June, 2010, the nonperforming loans over bank system reached 402.9 bln.tog, decreased by 11.9 bln.tog or 2.9 percent compared to the end of May 2010, and increased by 105.0 bln.tog or 35.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
  In June, 2010, there were 21 trading days and 1.6 mln.shares valued at 1.2 bln.tog were traded. The number of shares traded decreased by 4.8 mln.shares or 4.1 times compared to May 2010 and by 10.5 mln.shares or 7.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
  In the first half of 2010, total revenue and grants of General Government budget amounted to 1239.6 bln.tog and total expenditure and net lending amounted to 1407.1 bln.tog, representing a deficit of 167.5 bln.tog in the General Government budget overall balance, which is down by 93.8 bln.tog compared to the same period of the previous year.
  Current revenue of General Government amounted to 1205.6 bln.tog and current expenditure reached 1101.0 bln.tog. Thus, the budget current balance was in profitof 104.6 bln.tog. Compared to the same period of the  previous year, tax revenue increased by 427.6 bln.tog or 66.2 percent. The increase was mainly due to increase of 99.7 bln.tog or 4.2 times in price increase tax of some products, and of 82.7 bln.tog or 2.1 times in corporate income tax and of 99.1 bln.tog or 69.0 percent in value added tax.  
  Compared to the same period of the previous year, nontax revenue decreased by 46.9 bln.tog or 26.2 percent, out of which revenues from oil petroleum up by 17.4 bln.tog or 20.1 times and other revenues up by 12.1 bln.tog or 2.6 times, although the revenues from dividends decreased by 85.5 bln.tog or 95.2 percent. Total expenditure and net lending of the General Government budget increased by 319.6 bln.tog or 29.4 percent in the first half of 2010, compared to the same period of the previous year. This was mainly due toincrease of 177.9 bln.tog or 48.6 percent in subsidies and transfers, and 36.9 bln.tog or 20.7 percent in purchase  of other goods and services.Spending of 172.5 bln.tog on capital expenditure in the first half of 2010 was higher by 62.6 bln.tog or 57.0 percent over the same period of the previous year. Increase in capital expenditure was due to an increase of 71.3 bln.tog or 71.4 percent in capital expenditure of domestic sources, although the foreign financed capital expenditure decreased by 8.7 bln.tog or 87.4 percent.
  In the first half of 2010, Mongolia traded with 120 countries from all over the world and total external trade turnover reached 2664.9 mln.US dollars, of which exports made up 1308.7 mln.US dollars and import made up 1356.2 mln.US dollars. External trade balance in the first half of 2010 showed a deficit of 47.6 mln.US dollars, decreased by 82.2 mln.US dollars or 63.3 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. In the first half of 2010, total external trade turnover increased by 1009.2 mln.US dollars or 61.0 percent, of which exports by 545.8 mln.US dollars or 71.5 percent, imports by 463.5 mln.US dollars or 51.9 percent respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year.
  In the first half of 2010, mineral products, natural or cultured stones, precious metal, jewelry and textiles & textile articles accounted for 93.0 percent of the total export value amount.

III. Economics sector indicators
  In the first half of 2010, 10.2 mln.head or 53.7 percent of total breeding stock at the beginning of the year, gave birth. In the first half of 2010, survival of young animals amounted to 7270.4 thous.head or 71.1 percent of the young animals were born, down by 6348.2 thous.head or 46.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the first half of 2010 at national level, 9726.6 thous.adult animals, which equals to 22.1 percent of total livestock at beginning of the year, had lost. Out of the losses of adult animals, 12.8 thous.heads were camels, 338.2 thous.heads were horses, 550.1 thous.heads were cows, 4053.4 thous.heads were sheeps and 4772.0 thous.heads were goats. Out of losses of adult animals, 49.1 percent were goats. In the first half of 2010, the total industrial output increased by 93.8 bln.tog or 12.4 percent to 848.5 bln.tog (at 2005 constant prices) compared to the same period of the previous year. The increase in the industrial output was mainly due to increase from 5.6 percent to 10.3 times in
main industrial products such as coal, crude oil, molybdenum concentrate with 47%, fluor spar concentrate, all types of meat, milk, dairy products, wheat flour, alcoholic beverage, wine, beer, soft drinks, juice, combed down, lime, metal sleeper, copper, metal foundries and steel casting etc. Industrial output, in the first half of 2010, showed increase in mining of coal and lignite extraction of peat (83.0%), extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas (80.2%) and other mining and quarrying (22.2%) for the mining and quarrying sector; in manufacture of wearing apparel, dressing and dyeing of fur (45.5%), manufacture of food products and beverages (39.8%), manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (24.2.%), manufacture of textiles (23.0%), publishing, printing and reproduction of recorded media (18.1%), manufacture of wood and wooden products (17.2%), production of other nonmetallic mineral products (11.7%), manufacture of rubber and plastics products (11.5%), manufacture of tobacco products (10.8%), manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and nuclear fuel (4.4%) for the manufacturing sector compared to the same period of previous year. For the electricity, thermal energy and water supply subdivision, there was an increase in production of electricity, thermal energy, and steam (6.5%).
  In the first half of 2010, total 55.9 bln.tog of construction and installation work were carried out at national level. Of which, 49.0 bln.tog or 87.6 percent of the work were executed by domestic entities, and 6.9 bln.tog or 12.4 percent by foreign entities. In the first half of 2010, 11.4 mln.ton freight and 112.0 mln.passenger (duplicated) were carried by all types of transport. Compared to the same period of the previous year, carried freight rose by 1736.2 thous.ton or 17.9 percent, while carried passengers decreased by 946.5 thous.persons or 0.8 percent. Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reveals that maximum precipitation was in Galuut soum (94.9 mm) of Bayankhongor aimag in June, 2010. Absolute high air temperature reached 41.2°C in Choibalsan soum of Dornod aimag, whereas absolute low air temperature was 3.3° C in Terelj of Ulaanbaatar city and Hatgal soum of Khovsgol aimag. Maximum wind speed reached 28 m/sec in Zavkhan soum of Uvs aimag.
  Concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded once in the 32 nd Toirog, around the 13 th micro district and the Offitseruudiin ordon, respectively; particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded once in 1 st micro district from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in June, 2010. In the first half of 2010, 1587 disasters occurred and as a result 145 people died, 8.8 mln.livestock had lost in aimags and soums experienced naturalzud disaster. By the types of disasters, 1337 object fires, 22 heavy snow, sandstorms and 23 earthquakes higher than 3 magnitute had registered. Estimated damage caused by disaster amounted to 476.4 bln.tog.
